"And Where I Am, There Shall Also My Servant Be"

That's a quote from John 12:26. Below is a video clip I just stumbled across, of a man preaching the Lord Jesus in Dublin, Ireland. Its short - too short - but I was encouraged by hearing this gospel herald laboring in his corner of the harvest field.

It sure is a blessing to me to see & hear this faithful older brother. He's playing the man for his Lord and Savior, and demonstrating love to his neighbor's and countrymen. I've never seen this gentleman, and most likely will never meet him on this side of glory, but I love him!

You older brothers and sisters in the Lord: don't let some pipsqueak youth pastor put you out to pasture. We who are laboring in public gospel outreach are few, and there is a great work to be done.
150,000 people dying every day, and without Christ they will perish for ever.
WE NEED YOU!
By the power of the Holy Spirit in you, come out on the street and join us, and lift up your voice like a trumpet, declaring what great things the Lord has done for you. God can and will use you, if not to preach, to encourage and pray for those who do, or to share the gospel in conversation or through a gospel tract. If you are in Iowa, check out our Calendar of Ministry Opportunities, and feel free to contact us or stop by and see us. We would love to meet you.

  1. I agree with the pipsqueek youth pastor comment. All too often you older believers are pushed out and put out to pasture where we need you to disciple and teach us younger guys. We need wisdom that only can come from experience from those who've lived it before. I would love to spend a whole day with one of you.
