Bible Reading Plan

Some people ask about how to read the Bible. I highly recommend a chronological approach, especially if you are new to the Bible: if you get a grasp of what God was doing in the Old Testament, it makes the New Testament make so much more sense. Our 4-part Bible study, "Creation to Christ" is a good way to start out.

I also encourage all believers to read God's word daily, and to help keep me on track, I use a reading guide that has me read a section of scripture in the Old Testament, another in the New Testament, and a section in the Psalms every day. At the end of the year it takes me through the Old Testament once, and through the New Testament and Psalms twice.

If you'd like a copy of the one I use, click on this link: LINK to Bible Reading Plan

Download the document, and then run it through a copier using the "1-sided to 2-sided" format, and you can fold it up and keep it in your Bible for easy reference. Hope that is helpful!
